On Race Day

The fun begins every Saturday* at about 10:00am with arrival and parking in Woorak Road Reserve and unloading your boat onto beach wheels and taking it down Sandy Point Lane to the beach. The club has a limited number of parking permits from Northern Beaches Council available for members, otherwise trailers can be parked for free in the overflow area at the northern end of the reserve. 

Rig your boat and if you have time head to the clubhouse and offer to help the Race Officer (RO) launching Webster, the start boat via Snapperman Lane. 

The RO will hold a briefing at about midday and aim to start racing by 1:00pm. Racing is usually finished by 3:30-4:00pm, giving everyone enough time to unrig and head to the clubhouse for showers and the most important event of the the day, the BBQ.
